The internet can’t be just about kittens and wholesome things now can it, dear Pandas? Oh, they’re absolutely fabulous things to pick up your spirits, but sometimes… sometimes you need a bit of c o n t r a s t. There can’t be any light without darkness and there can’t be blessed images without C u R s E d ones to balance out the net.

There’s one Instagram account in particular that we want to highlight today—the ‘Cursed.Aesthetic’ project that has over 177k followers on the social media platform. It’s a haven for bizarre, weird, and slightly disturbing images that let you in and don’t want to let you go. Some of these are so enrapturing, you might not want to stop looking (and then somehow you can’t account for the last hour).
